Jim Gray Heads to the Beach

Jim Gray, the painter whose prints of Smoky Mountain scenes are known the world over, is giving up the mountains for the beach, and anyone that wants to say goodbye is invited to his Bon Voyage Party. It will be at Liz-Beth & Co. on Parkwest Boulevard on Friday, April 8, 5-9 p.m.

Prints of Gray’s paintings have been a fixture of the Gatlinburg arts and crafts scene for decades and his work has also been featured in galleries elsewhere.

The 78-year-old artist still tries to paint every day, but the climate here is too harsh. He will be moving to his home on the Gulf Coast. His work will still be available at his gallery in Gatlinburg and at Liz-Beth & Co.
