Reactions to the Mike Hamilton Resignation
As previously mentioned, University of Tennessee men’s athletic director Mike Hamilton resigned today. While not a total shock, the timing seemed a bit curious with Tennessee set to go before the NCAA’s Committee on Infractions on Saturday, but then again, nothing in the eight years of Hamilton’s rule went smoothly and rationally.

[Derek Dooley:] “So, the guy who, at one point, thought myself and Lane Kiffin were qualified coaches is gone? Note to self: Update resume and references.”
[Pat Summit:] “I AM DISAPPOINTED IN EVERYONE. ALWAYS.”
[Bruce Pearl:] “Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a second. The checks are still going to keep coming, right? Right?”
[Lane Kiffin:] “Who?”
