Perennial Plant Sale

9 a.m.-3 p.m., Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church

The Knoxville Green Association will be selling plants for sun and shade at $1 apiece. (Sale continues Sunday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.)

A Haunting at Ramsey

5:30-10 p.m., Ramsey House Plantation. $10.

A candlelit tour and spooky stories at the Civil War-era house, featuring some familiar local media faces.

Sunday, July 10

Kasey Chambers

8 p.m., Bijou Theatre. $26.50.

The Aussie alt-country singer is touring on her fine fifth album, Little Bird.

Tuesday, July 12

Knoxville City Council

7 p.m., Main Assembly Room, City County Building

The regular biweekly meeting. For a bonus round, at 4 p.m. you can go to the first meeting of Council’s new Pension Task Force, in the Small Assembly Room.

Psychedelic Furs

8 p.m., Bijou Theatre. $25.
