The Pilot Corp. CEO saw his brother Bill inaugurated as governor of Tennessee; later that day his Pittsburgh Steelers won a playoff game to go to the AFC Championship game.
Haslam is one of the owners of the Steelers. The Steelers beat the Baltimore Ravens to advance to the American Football Conference championship game to meet the New York Jets. The Jets upset the favored New England Patriots on Sunday.
