Starting the Year Weird at 'Fellini Kroger'

New Year’s Eve has always been cherished for serving as a free pass for overindulgence before the start of the new year and its daunting resolutions. Dieters binge on brownies, smokers consume multiple packs, and some of the Broadway Kroger’s patrons aim to become even more bizarre.

According to a Knoxville Police report, on New Year’s Eve a woman called to complain about being threatened at the affectionately nicknamed “Fellini Kroger.” The victim stated that while she was shopping, a woman armed with a grocery cart aggressively approached her in the aisle and shouted, “Are you still a puppet for your employer?!”

The victim attempted to flee the store, but the suspect—still wielding her shopping cart—charged down the aisles behind her yelling, “I’m going to kill you!”

Luckily, the victim made it to her car before any produce was sacrificed.
