UT-Redesigned Flower Pot Reopens

The downtown Flower Pot (700 S. Gay St.) celebrated its remodeled store Jan. 28. The space, designed in partnership with students from the University of Tennessee Architecture & Design School, is eco-friendly and includes cabinets, counters, and hardwood floors made with refurbished materials. Led by Professor Matt Hall and UT staffer Ashley Pace, student designers spent a year on the project. Other neat stuff the Flower Pot is doing includes Free Cupcake Fridays and the Spread the Cheer Bouquet, which travels to random businesses throughout the week
