Go Hillbilly Ballin' With Todd Steed and Bill Landry to Support WDVX

WDVX has done its part—inventive programming, support of the local music scene, free live music every weekday, and even getting named Bluegrass Radio Station of the Year (for the seventh time!) a couple of weeks ago at the 37th Annual Bluegrass Music Awards in Nashville.

Now it’s your turn. Come out and support WDVX at the fourth Hillbilly Ball, the public and nonprofit Americana station’s annual fund-raiser. This year’s event, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 19, at 6 p.m., at the Knoxville Museum of Art, promises to be the biggest yet, with live music by Todd Steed and the Sons of Phere, desserts from Magpies, food from the Parlor, and homespun anecdotes all night long from emcee Bill Landry. There’s also a silent auction for music-related items donated by local businesses. Tickets are $75 and are available by calling (865) 544-1029 or at wdvx.com.
