Ignore Sports and Improve Itself
What Knoxville needs is to ignore sports and focus on what it can do to improve itself economically and culturally. It is a city full of potential which too often thinks of itself not in terms of children educated, raw materials processed, or families brought out of poverty, but rather in terms of touchdowns and baskets. It is a self-created tragedy.
