Thank you for such a good article about my friend Jim Dykes. [“The Newspaperman,” by Jack Neely, Nov. 10, 2011] I could hear him talking, especially the expletives. I missed seeing him at Martin Hunt’s birthday party. I knew he had been ill. He, like my friend Martin, is a character with character. Bless them and you for the article.
