Kitchen Accessories from Mast

There’s nothing quite as nice as her culinary treats (besides her of course), and to offer both appreciation and encouragement, how about a heaping helping of fun accessories and gadgets from Mast General Store? Start with a cast iron corn cake mold, throw in an egg timer or bluebird spiced mug mat, maybe an avocado saver? And then line up a bunch of homestyle jellies and perhaps some maple cured bacon. The choices are extensive, and choosing is so much fun.($5-$15)

Aveda From Chop Shop

Aveda skin and hair care products aren’t just socially and environmentally responsible, they’re made from all pure ingredients, and most women really appreciate that thought. Or maybe she’d be up for a gift certificate for a visit to the shop with its neat music memorabilia and hip staff. You might want to pop by for your selections on a Wednesday or Friday between 3-7 p.m., ’cause that’s Happy Hour, which means cold beer or a glass o’ wine and 10 percent off the whole shebang of services.
