From the very first issue of Metro Pulse on Aug. 19, 1991, we were covering the Knoxville music scene. So, to mark our 20th anniversary, we thought it appropriate to showcase 20 years of local music with an all-night festival in downtown’s and the Old City’s live-music venues. Here are all the bands we could squeeze onto eight stages around town—a lineup that truly reflects the amazing variety and quality of music being made right here in Knoxville, Tenn.
