The first property with an indoor water park for North Cedar Hospitality, LLC opened July 28. The Quality Inn & Suites at 317 North Cedar Bluff (next to Starbucks) is NCH’s fifth greater Knoxville property and boasts a retractable roof, large pool, hot tub, and, ta da!: a two-story aqua playground with waterslide, umbrella jets, pull ropes, water guns, net climbs and hose jets. The piece de resistance: a huge bucket that splashes some 50 gallons of water over all and sundry every couple of minutes. About half of the hotel’s 84 guest rooms, which include 10 suites, overlook the water park.
