We hear there is an out-of-state company that wants to invest $75 million in a green energy producing business in Knox County but the deal is threatened by regulations. The proposed site is a brownfield already zoned heavy industrial, has water, sewer, and a railroad, but approval is being held up for a “review” and a “hearing.”
The industry has been recruited by a private developer and no taxpayer money or government-owned land is involved. Meetings were scheduled this week to try to resolve the issue and let the project proceed.

What kind of "review" and/or "hearing"? Held by what body? This piece is annoyingly short on facts.
