Congratulations to your fine-arts writer Alan Sherrod for the award of the NEA fellowship. His contributions are an important, if small, part of your “entertainment” reporting, and as a regular reader I have been enriched with his writing ever since he came on board. I wish him continued success, whether he stays local, or uses this boost to move on to a larger and more lucrative market.
