Thanks to Anthony Mosley for mentioning The Knoxville Botanical Gardens in his recent letter. [“A Couple of Suggestions...” Nov. 4, 2010] I had to laugh that he was impressed with the progress Knoxville has made in seven years with downtown renovation. Mr. Anthony, this has been going on for over 30 years. I worked downtown in the early ’80s, moved from Knoxville for over 20 years and returned four years ago. It amazes me how little happened in those 20+ years. Don’t hold your breath on any riverfront projects.
