Soon, instead of trying to find vacation hotels on the road that take pets, Knoxvillians will start pushing Pet Safe to accept humans, too. This is really a resort for pups and kitties, complete with playtime, exercise, pampered grooming, heated floors, and 24-hour care 365 days a year. And these folks are quite civic minded: Besides sponsoring part of the new Young Williams animal facility, they’re the masterminds behind Knoxville’s first dog park, a great place to be off-lead and meeting new friends—whether you’re a dog or an owner.
