For years on end Congressman Zach Wamp has been holding an annual Technology Corridor summit. The event generates positive stories and photos in the Knoxville and Chattanooga media and showcases Republican politicians. The Tech Corridor concept stretches from Virginia to Huntsville, Ala. and promotes the area as a technology center for business.
But a reporter for the Nashville Post, writing in the City Paper last week, reveals that the annual orgy of positive press coverage has really just been a vehicle to set Wamp up for a run for governor, to shake down government contractors in Oak Ridge for sponsorships, and deliver a boatload of cash to Wamp associate Darrell Akins.
Well, duh.

really, you should do your research...check out the agenda for the recent corridor mtg. in DC and Congressman Lincoln Davis was the host and they honored Congressman Bart Gordon.
doesn't sound like it's only Republican's they showcase..but, being a Knoxville paper puts you in the Haslam tank...
