UT Athletic Director Mike Hamilton has taken some grief from longtime fans for the infamous black jerseys the football team wore on Halloween for the South Carolina game. Some of the former players were especially offended at the abandonment of the traditional orange and white. There have been discussions about the basketball team wearing black jerseys as well.
This week, after recent Vol headlines, some former players shared an e-mail suggesting that Hamilton forget black jerseys for the basketball and football teams and instead outfit them in orange jumpsuits.
