It looks like there’s another new business popping up in the Old City. The Night Owl Cafe, located at 119 S. Central St., in the space previously occupied by Pasta Trio, opened on Wednesday, Jan. 27, and the owners plan on offering a unique dining experience for late-night Old City wanderers. The cafe, opened by Dwain and Jody Marchant, offers an alternative to the scarce late-night dining options in the Old City with hours that extend beyond last call. The menu offers a selection of homemade options that include everything from traditional shrimp and grits to a veggie burger. Coffee will also be served. Currently the cafe’s hours are 7 p.m.-2:30 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, 7 p.m.-3:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday.
