Where Our Next Governor Will be Partying

Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam and Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey will be in Nashville for after-election victory parties tonight (or pity parties, depending). Congressman Zach Wamp will be in his hometown of Chattanooga for his election night party.

Nashville is centrally located for gubernatorial campaign victory parties, for state media, and for supporters from all over the state to gather. Haslam will be at the downtown Hilton. Ramsey will be at the Marriott near Vanderbilt University.

Wamp will be at the Chattanoogan, the city’s convention center hotel. Perhaps, if Knoxville hadn’t turned down a convention center hotel, Haslam would have had room for his victory party in his hometown.
