This freebie depends on decisions made by your parents long ago... The Flower Pot florist and gift shop at 700 Gay St. gives a free flower every day to anyone who stops in with the name, one traditionally male, one female, listed on the sandwich board in front of the store. Bill, Barbara, Jerry, Elaine—these have already had their turn. It’s a rare day that goes by without at least one person claiming their freebie, which is usually a rose but could be a daisy mum or any other flower on hand. For inspiration, the store requests business cards, so Theotis and Princess may get their chance, too.
