Morristown alt-rock band Vertigo is the latest casualty of 2009. The band announced its break-up on MySpace last week and finished its run with a show at 4620 Reinvented on Wednesday, Nov. 18, and a final show in Morristown on Friday, Nov. 20.
“Words cannot really describe the roller coaster that has been Vertigo these past few years,” singer Lindsey Stamey wrote on the band’s MySpace page on Monday, Nov. 16. “We have had many amazing accomplishments, but it’s time for us to start new chapters in our lives. We have been so blessed with very caring people who would do anything to help us and for that we say thank you. We have been very blessed with the best fans in the world who supported us and came out to our shows.... We love you all very dearly and please keep an ear out for new things we may all do.”
