It’s taken more than 50 years, but tenor saxophonist Rocky Wynder is finally releasing his first album, with contributions from pianist Donald Brown, Brown’s wife Dorothy Brown, drummers Keith Brown and Ken Brown on drums, Taylor Coker and Rusty Holloway on bass, Harold Nagge and Mark Boling on guitar, and Vance Thompson on trumpet. The 82-year-old Wynder is celebrating the release with a show at the Knoxville Museum of Art on Sunday, Nov. 22, at 2:30 p.m.
