Body Farm Celebrity Professor to Host River Cruise

Arguably Knoxville’s hottest celebrity, forensic anthropologist and best-selling author (as half of the nom de plume Jefferson Bass) Dr. Bill Bass is leaving the Body Farm for the water—but just for one evening. He’ll host a book signing and lecture aboard the Volunteer Princess, which boards downtown Monday, Dec. 7, at 6 p.m. A portion of the proceeds go to the Dr. Bill Bass Anthropology Building Fund at the University of Tennessee, and the Princess will cruise past the Body Farm during his presentation. Numerous other cruises are also scheduled in November and December, including some with another, almost-as-popular, white-haired gent—Santa Claus. They’ll be Dec. 5 and 6, and Dec. 12 and 13.

Call 865-541-4556 or visit volunteerprincess.com for more information. Cost is $46.95 per person.
