Last month, program director Shane Cox of local radio station WNFZ 94.3 FM was featured by Radio Ink magazine as one of 2009’s Best Programmers in Radio. Every fall, the trade magazine invites industry members to nominate their picks for the best programmers in radio. In this 12th annual listing, Cox is one of 39 national honorees and one of 10 in the medium markets category; he was also the only Knoxville programmer included in the list.
