On May 20, representatives from the city of Knoxville discussed their departmental budgets at the first day of City Council budgetary hearings. The second one will be held on Monday. According to the current schedule, City Council will be consulting with Knoxville Chief of Police Sterling Owen IV, Knoxville Zoo Director Jim Vina, Knoxville Convention Center manager Mary Bogert, Ten-Year Plan Director John Lawler, as well as a number of others. The hearings will be followed by a City Council discussion and then a public meeting.
Monday, June 1, beginning at 9 a.m., in the Main Assembly Room of the City County Building.
