Gloria Johnson, who led the local effort for the Barack Obama presidential election, is expected to handily win chair of the Knox County Democratic Party at the upcoming county convention. Johnson took a delegation to Nashville to help elect state Democratic Party chair Chip Forrester.
The party convention will be a week from Saturday (April 4) at the UNITE labor hall on Broadway at 11 a.m.
