In continuing their ongoing efforts to make their sprawling Maryville compound a destination for bikers who aren’t necessarily shopping, SMHD has added hot eats to their offerings. Adjacent to the ever-popular Shed and opening April 4 will be Stinkers. The Stinkers menu is sticking with tried and true biker fare: barbecue and hot dogs. There will be shade and tables handy, but you can also get it to go.
SMHD has also announced their 2009 music line-up for The Shed, with shows beginning April 4. It’s all good, but a few dates worth saving are Scott Miller and the Commonwealth in April, Blue Mother Tupelo in May, Ray Wylie Hubbard (one of the last Texas Outlaws and the man to thank/blame for “Up Against The Wall, Redneck Mothers”) in June, The Kentucky Headhunters in September, and a Battle of the Bands set to run almost the entire month of October.
