Casey Kasem, eat your heart out! The Arts & Culture Alliance is doing a Top 40 vote of its own to determine which works will be on display at the Emporium Center in downtown Knoxville from April 3-21. Here are the numbers:
- 182 entries
- 74 artists submitting entries
- 10 favorites each voter can select
- 1 vote per customer, e-mailed to info (at) knoxalliance (dot) com
- 40 works receiving the most votes will be exhibited April 3-21
- 9 a.m. EST, Monday, March 9, voting ends
- 4/3 opening date for the exhibit
- 100 percent “winner-take-all” award for the piece that earns the most cash “votes” (donations designated to one of the 40 works) at the opening
