Since 1970 Boston Pride has celebrated the successes and the struggles of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community in New England and around the world.
We honor the courage of those who took to the streets at Stonewall in 1969, the joy of the first same-sex couples in the US to legally say, “I do” five years ago, and those who lost their lives last year at a Knoxville, Tenn. church for daring to post a “Gays Welcome” sign above their door. Boston Pride reminds us all, “you are not alone.”
