Kudos to your entertaining article about the legendary Cas Walker. [“Cas Walker: Hillbilly Colossus,” cover story by Betty Bean, June 4, 2009] I have always had a fascination about this larger than life character. It was interesting reading more about him. I am too young to remember the regionally infamous supermarkets and his antics in local politics; however, I have grown up hearing all about them. So, thanks for your lively article! It was certainly a treat!
