All Are Welcome

The Metro Pulse of June 26 [in Knoxville Googled] quotes a bostonpride.org newsletter saying that our church, Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church, posts a “Gays Welcome” sign at the door. Actually it says “Everyone Welcome,” which we know is much better as it welcomes all into a diverse community where being a human being is first and foremost. For the record, the “Everyone” began by including African Americans over 50 years ago. We at TVUUC are proud to be so inclusive as to include everyone’s spirituality as well.
