In two recent news stories, out-going Knoxville Vice Mayor Mark Brown was lauded for his communications with the mayor’s office, doing a good job of passing along the “will of City Council” on issues.
Communication skills aside, we did wonder how Brown came to know the “will of council” on issues so he could share this information with Mayor Bill Haslam.
Evidently Knox County Commissioners, found guilty of violating the Sunshine law, lack such communication skills. We can only assume that Brown has magical powers and divines the will of council using a Ouija board. Otherwise council would have been sued by now.
