The TVA Kingston Fossil Plant spill, which happened on Dec. 22, left hundreds of acres of Roane County covered in more than 1 billion gallons of sludge. Many citizens and environmental groups are still deeply concerned with lasting health and quality of life issues as a result. This week, the Tennessee Valley Authority’s nine-member board will have its first meeting since the Kingston Fossil Plant coal ash spill in late December. “Kingston Report” is item two on its agenda.
