Diacon-Panthers reintroduced themselves to Knoxville last weekend after several months away with a show at Pilot Light to celebrate the release of their new EP, Ride Again. The five-song disc was recorded in Maryville way back in January; the band will play a handful of regional dates in support during the next few weeks.
The Panthers are also about to unveil a new website, d-pmixtapez.biz, featuring mp3s of the band’s demos, unreleased songs, and related ephemera.
“Be on the lookout for the inaugural mixtape this winter: a compilation of Diacon-Panthers songs chopped ’n’ screwed by our very own music tech whiz Jeremy Given,” says guitarist Greg Given.
