It looks like the space at 108 E. Jackson Ave., most recently home to Woodward Books, will soon be turning into a record store this month.
Operated by Pilot Light owner Jason Boardman, the new store—directly next door to the music club—will have 3,000 to 4,000 LPs for sale from Lost and Found Records and local vinyl entrepreneur (and former Metro Pulse sales manager) Jay Nations. Nations says the store will open in mid-August. “Jason is busy getting fixtures together right now,” Nations writes in an e-mail.
