AC Entertainment just keeps getting bigger. The local concert promotion company headed by Ashley Capps acquired Nashville-based promoter Great Big Shows earlier this month, a move that’s expected to strengthen AC’s position in Music City as well as its new artist management division.
The relationship between Capps and Great Big Shows owner Rick Whetsel isn’t new. Whetsel’s company has worked on several AC projects in the past five years, including production management for Sundown in the City since 2004.
