What do participants gain by joining the group? Why don’t they just drum alone, in the comfort of their own homes?

What kinds of drums do you use?

How long does it take to become a proficient drummer?

Do you have many regulars? How many people will show up any given month?

How long ago did this tradition originate?

And, finally, why do you feel it is important to keep this tradition alive in Knoxville?

The Drum Circle meets every First Friday, 7 p.m., at Westside Unitarian Universalist Church, 616 Fretz Rd. It’s free; just show up.
