Farmer's Market

While, alas, I once ran into Cormac McCarthy at the Fresh Market, is there any doubt that, were he not fictional and were he alive today, McCarthy's signature Knoxville character, Suttree, would shop at the Fellini Kroger? Ask anyone who has shopped there and they no doubt have a handful of stories worthy of inclusion as an episode in the novel by the same name, everything from two old ladies in a shouting argument over rutabagas to a fistfight between a midget and a one-armed man--scenes that, with the addition of a clown costume or two, would be at home in any of Fellini's films.
