Human Fuse combusts with youthful energy

When meeting the members of Human Fuse for the first time, certain personality traits are clear: they can rarely stay quiet for more than a few seconds at a time; they love pizza and Mountain Dew; and they love talking about and playing music. So much so, that even in conversation, whether about a song or Trueblood’s “sea-captain” beard, their instruments are never idle. A typical practice for the Fuse includes Ben “Benyrd” Eller on lead guitar, Mitch “Mousse” Trueblood on rhythm, Joe Rowland on bass, and Derek Tingle hidden behind a massive 24-piece drum kit, all of them scattered barefoot throughout a wood-paneled rec room in North Knoxville with enough voltage plugged into the wall to suck TVA dry.
