Can you give us some perspective on what it’s like to be Jewish around the Christmas season?
With what’s been deemed the War on Christmas, several companies have changed their greeting from “Merry Christmas” to “Happy Holidays.” Do you think others should follow suit?
What do you say when someone says “Merry Christmas” to you?
Can you give us a brief summary of Chanukah?
Because for Jews it’s considered post-biblical, it’s therefore a more minor holiday. Chanukah has always been a symbol of something that is hopeful, so lighting the menorah reminds us that God redeemed us from suffering before and God will do so again.
