It is way past time to take the necessary steps to right the worst wrong in Knoxville history. Market Square, has never been, is not now, and never shall be square. Tennessee has not always had a reputation for having a particularly exemplary education system and it is very possible that, whenever the phrase was first used, 200 or so years ago, local denizens weren't real strong in geometry. We've improved since then so, come on folks, please join me in calling Market Square what it is: Market Rectangle. Who knows, maybe in 200 years or so, it will catch on.
