Letter: Fair Play

Mr. Cagle talks about the UT football program and hiring a "big-name coach." ["Football By the Numbers," Frank Talk by Frank Cagle, Dec. 8, 2011]

Apparently he doesn't know that when Lane Kiffin left that also over 40 players left, including scholarship signees.

I seriously doubt anyone in the nation could have done a better job than Coach Dooley. In 2010 and 2011, Dooley played 18 freshmen each year. In order to give Dooley a fair chance at coaching he needs to be able to finish the year when his first recruits end their careers as seniors.
