Get It? Anybody?

Just a quick question about this week's headline, "Celebrity Sitings!" [cover story, July 29, 2010] Should it not read, "Celebrity Sightings!" instead? The current version implies that someone has placed a celebrity on a specific spot or site. The article, however, tells us that certain celebrities have been sighted in local establishments. I would think you would want your front cover headline to accurately reflect the story inside.

Ed. Note: The headline was intended to be a play on words, since the celebrities (or their handlers) chose which local sites to dine in—so, the stars were both sited and then sighted. This makes perfect sense! But, in the future, we will seriously reconsider any use of puns in headlines, in light of the confusion and anguish they can often cause.
