Our Oct. 15 cover story by Jack Neely about the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, "Beyond the Baton," characterized the Society of St. Francis, of which one KSO musician is a member, as a "strict Episcopal sect." That member, who prefers not to be named, informs us that the international religious community entails a careful discipline of self-denial and simplicity in living, in devotion to the example of St. Francis, but is inclusive among Episcopalians.
