With song titles like “Ear to Ear” and “Prostatic Fluid Asphyxiation,” it’s not hard to figure out where Whitechapel’s coming from. They combine stomach-churning hardcore intensity with technical death-metal shredding and gore-splattered lyrics on their debut album, The Somatic Defilement, and the 2008 follow-up This Is Exile.
