Feeling old? This super-cheap hardcore package show won’t do much to make you feel any younger. If you get anywhere near the mosh pit, in fact, you’ll feel 20 years older than you are when you try to get out of bed the next morning. But if you’re curious about what the kids are into these days—the ones you see at the mall with the neon-colored T-shirts and skintight jeans and bangs cut at a funny angle—this is an economical introduction, with a top-notch lineup headed by Poison the Well, a smart Florida quintet that expands its swirling post-hardcore with jazzy breaks and quiet, atmospheric interludes. You also get straight-up, old-fashioned East Coast-style hardcore (Madball and Death Before Dishonor), old-school punk revivalism (Crime in Stereo, This Is Hell), and Christian metalcore (War of Ages), just so you know you have your HC bases covered. Just stay toward the back of the crowd and you’ll be fine. (Matthew Everett)
