OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Open only to legal residents of the United States and District of Columbia, who are 21 years of age or older as of 4-10-08. Void in Puerto Rico and all other U.S. territories and wherever prohibited by law. Individuals who have won prizes from promotions sponsored by Metro Pulse in the past 90 days are not eligible. Employees of Metro Pulse, Earth Traverse, Eagle Distributing, or Food City, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each (collectively, “Sponsor”) are not eligible. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor.
TO ENTER:
Registration begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Standard Time on 4-10-08 and goes through 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time 6/26/2008. Participants may register in four different ways.
Register in person at the Metro Pulse booth at Sundown in the City on Market Square each Thursday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM starting on 4-17-08 and until June 26th. A total of 11 pre-qualifiers will be drawn from registrations collected during Sundown in the City (1 per week).
Register in person at a participating Food City location. A total of 10 pre-qualifiers will be drawn from participating Food City locations. The drawing moves from location to location every two weeks on the following schedule:

Register in person at Earth Traverse on Sutherland Avenue. One qualifier will be drawn from this location.
Register online at www.metropulse.com from 12:01 AM Eastern Standard Time on 4-10-08 through 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time 6/26/2008. A total of 11 pre-qualifiers will be drawn from all online registrants.
Limit one entry per person/household address regardless of method of entry. No mechanically reproduced entries of any kind permitted. Illegible and incomplete entries are void. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, postage due, misdirected entries or entries not received. In the event of a dispute over who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account identified on the online entry form. The authorized account holder is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider, or online organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
RANDOM DRAWING: Weekly pre-qualifiers will be drawn from entries from each Food City location, from the registrants at Sundown in the City, and from online registrants. (TOTAL NUMBER OF PRE-QUALIFIERS=33.) All pre-qualifiers will be notified by phone or e-mail. After three days of unsuccessfully trying to contact a pre-qualifier, that pre-qualifier will be disqualified and another name will be drawn. Each pre-qualifier will then need to be at Sundown in the City on 7-3-08 for a reverse drawing to determine the final winner. All pre-qualifiers must be present on this day to win the Grand Prize. The reverse drawing is a random drawing of all pre-qualifiers which eliminates one at a time until nobody is left but the final Grand Prize Winner. Decisions of judges are final on all matters. Limit one prize per person/household address. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
PRIZES: The Grand Prize winner will receive a 2008 Schwinn Collegiate (ARV $1,599). Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. No substitution or transfer/assignment of prize by winners permitted.
All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winners. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Potential winners (or parent/legal guardian if potential winner is a minor in his/her state of residence) may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form, which may require social security number, postmarked within 10 days of the date on notification materials. Noncompliance within this time period and/or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and an alternate potential winner may be selected by random draw from all remaining eligible entries. All winners must produce picture or some other form of proper identification to claim any prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with prize of equal or greater value. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor to use winners’ name, voice, statements, image and likeness for purposes of advertising and trade, in any medium, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
TERMS: Sponsor not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prize or in the administration of the promotion, whether caused by computer, technical or human error. Winners assume all liability and agree to hold Sponsor harmless for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, faulty, or incorrect transmissions, incorrect announcements of any kind, technical hardware or software failures of any kind, any damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the online portion of the promotion, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission that may limit a user’s ability to participate in the sweepstakes whether caused by computer, technical or human error. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the program for any reason, including but not limited to, if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the promotion; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper administration of the promotion as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify, freeze or prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation or with any provision in these Official Rules. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL & CIVIL LAWS. SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY AND/OR SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY INDIVIDUAL MAKING ANY SUCH ATTEMPTS TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
