I cannot believe the posts against this bill. I was shocked to see that Horse Haven was against it. I can see no reason for this bill not to pass and become law. I’m against any type of abuse to any animal it matters not if it is wild or tame and when I see a law that would make people report any abuse they videoed with in 48 hours unedited then bring that law on. It seems too many of you are on the bandwagon of the money hungry non- profits like h$u$. You forget they said the horses were beaten and abused every day but they allowed them to stay there while they edited over a years worth of video to come out with a few minutes of it to show what had been done.Give me a break people over a year and all they could get was a couple of minutes and even, then people who know horses knew some of it was twisted to mean something other than what really took place. I suggest you look up “Horse Cast In A Stall” and read it. The fact they left the horses there for over a year told me the horses health wasn’t what they were looking out for they were working on plans of when to use it to make the most money and if a horse did happen to die in that time so be it, they would just raise more money. I would like to see the bill passed so number one it would help an animal that is in an abusive situation. Video given to the authorities would create a need for action now not over a year from now. Seems to me any one who doesn’t want to help an abused animal immediately is part of the abuse problem.
