How about reading up on her story & having some compassion? Elizabeth had been terrorized & abused into submission by an armed psycho. She's not the first kidnap victim to submit out of fear of death.
I probably know her story as well or better than you. I also have compassion for her ordeal. However, I think she is an absurd choice to be paid to give tips to parents and children on escaping from kidnappers. A better choice would be someone who has actually escaped from a kidnapper like young Calysta Cordova, the 9 year old Colorado girl who escaped her kidnapper and called 911. Elizabeth story sells, not because it might help other kidnap victims, but because she is young, white and pretty and the story of her being raped over 1000 times titillates listeners. Even more so, when delivered by the victim, herself. In other words, it proves the old adage, "sex sells", in every form.
